after talking to happy yesterday about the springs. i went and looked at some i have on the shelf. new. some do lean. i have a set for the yzf450. the one exhaust leaned but none others. i looked at a mojave spring kit. 3 of them lean. i looked at a rd spring kit for the 660 and v force. only 1 lean...

do you think the valves are to long and the weight keeps them floating more then normal versus on motors with shorter valves?

well since i made a bad choice for the springs. and didnt check the valve (will explain in a moment) the safe thing would to be put the stock parts back in. untill we can complete the test as to what is all happening with the parts.<br /><br />here is a little kibble history. last spring doug wanted...

to much spring pressure is a bad thing. it puts extra wear on other parts. in this case the keepers and the cam lobe took it and wore out super quick.<br />and with this set up there was way to much spring pressure as i was told. so of coarse things wore out<br /><br />i really think the wrong sprin...

at this time. i wouldnt trust the kibble springs. the stock springs with stock cams would be the thing to use. you need to remove them shim. the kibbles look to be to long with very little coil clearance.<br /><br />but im trying to see what would be the safe combo here to make it all work out right...
