Neutral will be easier to find the longer you have the quad. Like the suspension, the clutch takes a little while to break itself in. I could not find neutral for the longest time either, but now it is not a problem, and I have had mine since June.

My suspension used to be really stiff also. How long have you had the quad? The longer that you have it, the better it will feel. I have been kicking the idea around of doing some of the desert races and stuff in SoCal and Nevada. But I just haven't worked up the nerve or the time.
