Sure can be pesky. I know what you mean on the little screws. I've always over looked the transmission screws. I've had so little problems with the tranny's that I haven't given them much detail. usually just pull them out in one piece, clean, and stick them back back in. Torque and ...

My quad got stuck in first gear during my last race. Made for some slow laps lol. Just got it opened up to find a screw backed out of the transmission....shucks. this is only the second transmission problem I've had after 15 years of Cannondales! Not bad

My neighbor kid had a 400ex that he baked the cdi box on and it worked as well!

Here is a pic.the top hat also had a chunk missing. The broken piece pin and top hat were just resting on the oil pump cover.[attachment=13896:IMG_2017...54128546.jpg]

Wistec. I just had that pin break off...Went to put it in gear and it snapped right off. The hole broke out where the pin goes. First time that's happened.must be something in the air.

Thanks for all the parts john. Had a variety of things and got everything down to the last retaining ring without a glitch. Another dale up and running
