Well, we thought about the plug also. I pulled it, and it's good, replaced it anyways with a new one. The words I kept repeating to the guys helping me out is "It ran fine, and even started right before I replaced the stator and flywheel...wtf could have happed?".

We did try...

Quick status update!

I wired the radiator fan to turn on when the lights are on. This is especially useful since I don't use the lights, and it kept me from having to put any extra switches in place. So now it will run whenever the quad is running, and I also have the ability to t...

I'm not sure what "Stock" is, since I have two C'dales and they are both different. This one only has the key switch and start button. The fan will run if the key is off, so I'm guessing the stock "Run/off" button has been bypassed (or simply wired to always run).<br ...

I'll start with the basics. It's a 468, and it was 102 @ the dunes (yes I know, but I was fiending). Anyways, after I finished riding, the fan stayed on for a good 15 minutes, which is longer than ever. Keep in mind the fan is directly wired, so it runs even if the key is off (this will chan...

For anyone interested, the first trip out with the new filter was great. I was going to smear a light coat of grease on the flange of the TB adapter to check for dirt and sand, but forgot. Maybe next time out.

Quad ran great though.

The plan will be to get it on a dyno, but unfortunately the dyno is harder to get than the flow bench. As it is, we'll have the stocker to use initially, since I'm giving him two heads.

I know most, if not all of you guys use the dyno, but was just wondering if anyone has flow tes...

Just looking for some typical numbers.

Has anyone flow tested from TB to exhaust?

I'm going to let a friend do some experiments, and he has access to a flow bench. We were just looking for numbers that are typical of a decent porting job. All input is welcome!
<br...
