By checking flow you mean leaving the dipstick out and making sure you see a river? Just trying to get an idea. I seem to learn a lot every day I'm on here.

Well, I guess there goes that idea. It's not bad when the quad is off, but when I stop, I find myself giving up on neutral a lot!! Although I did find it's a bit easier (for me anyway) if I rev the engine slightly while trying to get there.

It certainly does seem to be a much debated subject. I usually just find a method that works and stick with it...no matter what the machine.

They are, but there are several people, including me, who use the same thing in both. Certainly makes it easier to only need one type of fluid. I think Amsoil actually recommends using the 10-30 oil in the tranny.

Did find it cheaper for 10oz tubes. Must be ordered by case (12 tubes) @ 16 per tube. I'm still waiting on feedback from another distributor.
