I am going to send a damaged frame to the powdercoaters tomorrow and have it tested for temper afterwords to see for sure what affect if any there is on the temper. that will give us the answer for sure.

You'll be in luck! We have a couple frames for sale also. But really, if it's too soft, it can be stripped and retempered to original (T-6), but then your back where you started. But at least your frame will be usable again.

Southbay is an excellent choice for your motor also. I think their 460 kit is the same as ours ...97mm with a 1 mm stroker crank, we have a couple of the cranks ourselves but not enough that we will sell them anytime soon, if Dustin has the parts you'd probably be better off having them do your moto...

Yes, any processes that are done to the alum can not exceed 325 degrees without removing the temper.

I am starting some today.... should have a few finished by end of this week, price not set as of yet, should know $ in a day or 2.

I'll get pics taken this week of the mount, jcv got the prototype, the ones we will be selling will have the steering stop built in to the mount. I'll make up a bunch and we'll see how well you guys and girls like them.
