Actually guys, "WE" see about 1 in 20 good ones sent to us. Now there were 6000 motors built, a few have been destroyed, a few have been used for parts, a few have been rebuilt, that leaves alot of motors that have kept on running with no crank issues at all. I personally know of a guy that has at l...

WWE, Haygug, and myself are all using the cast iron sleeves for our 450 kits... as far as I know, there hasn't been any cracked sleeves. Actually haven't heard of any overheating problems either (with the cast sleeve less heat is dumped into the coolant), they seem to run noticably cooler according ...

personally, I prefere to use a power washer to clean the frame out, but a steam cleaner would do better, then hang the frame front end up with all plugs out and let dry for a couple days. As far as time required to rebuild a crank, it varies with work load, but usually 2-5 weeks.

I could sell you a brand new take off rod bearing and rod, But the rod journal has already been destroyed on your 2 peice crank, now if you happen to have a 50 ton press and a special built fixture... you can get your crank apart, weld the journal up, get it re-machined to within 4/10,000 of and inc...
