We run x440 mapping on quads as long as the rider is 200# or under, with the more agressive ignition curve it works well on mid-top end but gives up a bit of torque on the bottom end. If you're under 170# it is definitely the best for mx racing.

Christa's has had the most time on her 450, she's had electrical problems pop up but no probs connected to the piston and/or sleeve. *Winky

37# in the case (12mm) like Dustin said, 31# on the head stud nut (10mm). although I use the green locktite in the case (for permament installation). your motor is done WJ, I'll send you some green locktite with it, if you want.

the first thing you must do if you're using these gears is to make absoltuly sure that the gears are turning freely when installed. if there are scratches in the block housing...polish them out! same for the gear set themselvles, if there is any drag/hanging up, keep polishing. actually, you'll find that instead of using a wrench to remove the impeller, use a gloved hand (making sure you are turning in the direction of the arrow) is an easier way.
