We've been using a steel caged roller on the flywheel side and a heavy duty ball bearing on the cart plate side.

We set the oven for 425 degrees, set case in oven open side down, after about 20-30 mins. you'll hear a tink as the bearings drop out, this way of removing the bearings will keep your cases from getting damaged. Don't this in your wife's oven it makes for alot of smoke.

As you know, the amount of oil reaching a bearing has a great deal to do with it's life span. By increasing the amount of oil reaching the rod bearing ..it in turn runs off the sleeve where it is collected to feed the flywheel side bearing the oil it needs to live. If oil doesn't reach the rod beari...

All I can say so far is... that we haven't had any crank or bearing issues with the new mod, we have 7 motors out there running with it. We are currently testing a dead stock OEM crank with the oiling system modifications in my son's c-dale to see if the stock crank will hold up. When I see 300-400 ...

okay guys, this is what we have come up with so far. We know that the faster the crank is spinning, the less oil gets to the rod bearing due to most of the oil being taken by the main bearing in the cart plate due to centrifical force. We spun a crank without the rod on it to confirm this. So now we...

The faster it spins..the ...

Crankshaft Failures

This is Lil winkey.

Resently wer have heard of our crankshafts failing.

Though we us the most quality parts that we can lay our hands on its seems that the problem with the crankshaft lies deeper then just weak parts.

We have discovered that the cannondale engine h...
