If your quad was at the dealer at the time the bulletin came out, cannondale would/should have sent the bulletins out for every quad affected and the dealer should have put them on. I think they were designed to keep the radiator from getting clogged. They direct the air to the shrouds not directly on the radiator. I would consider getting bigger shrouds. I myself have pc carbon fiber ones. They bring in alot more air.

I thought someone said you mounted it right on the efi. This way looks a lot better. I have also heard that K&N s don't filter the finnest particles. Foam is better in the dust. But if you run a K&N and also an outerwear that might be the ticket. Thanks for posting a pic.
