The thing with aluminum is that it is a softer material, so it might flex a bit to much for powdercoating. I work in a fab shop and powdercoated my swingarm for a 250R. it worked and looked good for a little bit, but it chipped off quite easily. Pay the big buck and anodize it.<img src="http://www.c...

What I do to get all the oil out at every oil change is: Tip the quad on each side. Just grab the footpeg and the handle bars and tilt. I usually get a heck of a lot more out this way.

Too make things quick and easy, they sell some type of grease in a spray can. I have seen these at ceretain stores, but just spray some on and keep on turning the stem to make sure it goes through. I just had mine out so it was easy.

What I did when I put my new stem in is just smear grease in the rubber bushing. It makes steering a little easier and no more squeak.

Sorry to here about the trouble, we just got done installing a WB pipe on a predator and that was a pain also.
I would give HMF a call or email and let them know of the problems so maybe they can redesign it or something.
