How do I know when its time to freshen up my clutch.... Its hard to feel anything with the hydro setup, but everything seems to be looking fine inside.. steels are smooth though...

Do other make/model clutches work for our set up?

bike? quad? year ? condition?

hey pete yea I'm interested to know, and for the rest of you, ill take a look at grinding that bit out. and also check for kinks and lube it. I think also the 450 throttle might seem smoother becouse the lever is so much bigger, possible extra leverage hence the easier pull...

lets do it , I can get the throttle for 40 bucks from someone off a 450 forum... let me know if we can get this happening

yea I'm hoping to find a drag guy thats got one in a dragg forum somewhere cheap , My buddy has a honda and the throttle just feels sooo smooth, any you mx dalers ever rig one up, Everything helps with then rough tracks...figured i'd give it a try

Have a feeling my clutch isnt grabbing the way it should, anyone want to walk me through checking it, adjusting it and eventually completely servicing it?

Mine came out looking like a load of chips from a mill haha, It was badddd, busted holes through the carrier in 5 places, tore my axle up a lil bit too..

Yea I am, I grenaded my rear end a couple weeks ago, but I'm racing this Saturday! The quad has been treating me very well, and yes I'm still reppin the 406 haha. Ill try n get pics of the rear end, it was NASTY
