Working on a speed, went to check spark and after only turning the engine over a couple times the coil gets so hot you can't touch it, is this normal?

It is a quad. Nothing burned up, these are 2 groups of black wires with eyelets on them. It is an untouched harness with all factory ends.

So you are using the dominator 2 stroke oil? I have 2 bottle sitting ont eh shelf left over from when a dirtbike was around. I have ran 2 stroke in a lot of stuff before just cause it was laying around, but never my quad. I can see the benefits of it though and may try it out this weekend.

I was just looking at the stock swinger the other day thinking about how much room there would be to move the mount. I don't have a tig though so I was just thinking. The PDS is a unique set up, other than the dale I have not ridden any others to know how they compare to elka or axis or anything...

Did I read somewhere that the stock rears had Ohlins pds system? If so that is why it gets so much stiffer in the last few inches. It could be remied by having someone revalve the rear a little lighter on the upper piston. I may be wrong on it being pds though?
