Well recently bought the machine and after two rides dropped a valve. Im not parting it out. Not willing to ship either. Dont know if anyone is in my area for pickup but thought I would throw it out there. Located in Grand Junction Colorado. Be happy to answer any questions! thanks

Well im not sure what way to go with it yet. Wistech I wish it had those plastics haha. It has red plastics, no flaps or the detachable fenders. If I was able to pick up another cable clutch engine are there any differences sensor wise between the 500 and 1000 series ecus?

Just wondering what it might be worth. Bought it about 3 weeks ago and this last weekend while riding dropped a valve. It ran great before that. I paid 2 grand for it (way too much I know) But just gonna try to recover some of my losses. Thanks everyone.

Well dropped valve confirmed. Pulled the plug and its smashed flat.

However looking for the 8mm bolt you mentioned I did not see one. Would it be behind the flywheel or just on the outside below the hump in the case where the flywheel is located?

He also said he did have the motor shipped out and rebuilt. Bored to a 440. He said it only had about 10hrs on it since the rebuild. Af...

Pulled the cover where the gears for the starter are also looks good to me no metal and all turns freely. Pulled th...
