I agree with the lugging part. I changed my gearing to 14/50 and in my initial rides in the yard, I can say that it made a world of difference. I could actually stab the rear brake without the clutch .
Some day I may get it out for a trail ride and do the real world check.

Don't leave us hangin' . Did you get it fixed ? What was going on?

I have only ridden my bike 3 times since I bought it. Now I am working on an enclosed fiberglass trailer that I bought. I do check this sight every day at least once. Just don't have anything productive to add, since most of you guys are C'dale experts.

Keep us informed of your project. As I mentioned,I have the enduro spark arrestor exhaust. It's not that bad,but quieter is always better. I read that a 2005 Honda CRF450 silencer works, too.

I bought a used E440 because it has the spark arrestor. They are not real quiet. But if you are easy on the throttle,they are not all that bad.I used mine on a Wisconsin state trail and in the woods with your helmet on,it's passable.

I had a few looks when I took my bike out last year. For the most part,these guys were about 4-8 years old when Cannondale stopped producing, so they are not sure what you have.

I just thought of a dumb question. If some of the lithium batteries can not be charged by a standard charger, what happens when the bikes charging system kicks in?

I am still leaning toward the Anti Gravity 8 cell. I just don't like the idea of having to buy another charger for lithium batteries.
