No, the axle will not work even when flipped. The sprocket carrier is a good bit different and will not allow the sprockets to line up. Also, seems like there is some issues on the brake side also.

Anyone that has changed from a 7/8 handlebar to a 1 1/8 handlebars. What type of mounts did you use?

I do believe that is the stock kickstarter. I don't think it will be able to clear the frame.

What I am wanting to do is install the electric start kit which will kind of make it an EXC instead of an SX.

I didn't know there were any problems with the SS filters. Does this apply to all SS filters or just the ones that came factory in the Cannondales. I have been using mine for two years now with no problems.
