Also what battery is everyone running? I have a glass mat oreilly battery that just does not seem to start it as fast as other peoples cannondales I have seen. Headed to dunes this weekend and looking for a hot battery.

My fuel pump is on the brink, I need a replacement. I had a inline fuel pump laying around off of a 87 honda prelude, it looks identical. Will it work? If not where do I find a replacement?

My Cannondale has developed a horrible whine while starting
As soon as I let off button it goes away. I have removed starter and cleaned it up internally but has not helped. What else could it be? Bike runs great.

Just picked up this cannibal a few months ago, going through the maintenance procedures. Went to drain oil, upper drainon right side of quad drains fine, removed drain on lower left side of frame and its bone dry. The plug is even dry. Shouldn't there be oil coming from this?

What would be the cause of my starter squealing while its turning over the motor? I remove the starter, its cleans and spins freely by hand.

I do use the correct cold starting method, it does not seem to help. This is where it gets weird, after wistech told me to check compression. I did using 3-different gauges all are showing 30 psi. I picked up a 02 cannibal, found motor to be blown. Then completely rebuilt top end with help of local cannondale owner.
