Doug the older we get, the smarter we get. Kdeal, in the day, 400-450 4 stroke was the same as a 250 2 stroke. This was not a open class. Look at the Pro bike class 450 4-stroke and 250 2-stroke. Same thing.

I decided to race one more before we started tearing into the motor. Wish I would have started tearing it down. The 1st moto went very well. Start to go, the Dale was in front. There were a few more entries this time. To be the only Dale on the track is cool, beating the field of Hondas and Yammies ...

Looks sweet. Nice hood and grille. Sure wish mine looked that good. Thats another story though.

That should have cleared it up. Did you have the valve cover off when you did this? If not you might have jacked the seal up like I did the 1st time. It might be the cover seal, not sure on that one.

Replace the seal behind the impellar.

Looks sweet man, but what about the hood? I like to see the whole bike blend together like that. Soon as you get it on the road will have to get together for a race or two.
