Is there a reason Cannondale went with an aluminum piston liner and not steel? Maybe one of the engine builders on here could chime in. Couldn???t find any info on this site. Was it a cost issue , throw away concept, heat transfer due to the small water jacket or what was there thinking? Any engine ...

What type of o-ring is suitable for the cannondale engines? Is the viton Brown FKM 75 Duro O-Rings acceptable for o-ring replacement? From what I read online they are better suitable for oils and high temperatures.
