Early 02 Blaze
Decompression lever failed and took out exhaust cam and cap.
Winky rebuilt with the works. Oil mixing problem at first-fixed now. Just tore motor down and inspected BEFORE this problem arose on the site, but everything looked good inside the cylinder and crank and all. Hope ...

My 250r Conversion and 3rd rebuild

Here are the latest pics of my Dale. I finally got the tranny/motor oil mixing problem fixed and almost all oil leaks sealed off. I also powdercoated some of the parts while waiting on the 250r conversion kit to arrive. My fuel pump, filter, and computer are also in different locations. I am now onl...

Just fillling the case with oil like an oil bath would do nothing for the rod bearing. The purpose of oil pressure is to force oil into the voids between two moving surfaces to a point where there is actually no metal touching metal. The two parts would then hardly ever wear out. On our air boats, w...

I run a 14/37 on my quad most of the time. I broke my last rear and I am running a 38 rear now and can tell a difference. I am also running the moto/speed map on the quad. I only weigh about 170 lbs with all my gear on and still have to watch the front. I would say to go with the 14 tooth front to s...

Its just some 1/8" rivets that hold the label on. To do it correctly, you must flare the inner core out with a large socket and large hammer to get the outer insert to hold in place and to keep the inner core from rattling inside. I just placed a socket in the inner core, a 1 1/2" I believe and kept...

If you look at it...it is open all the way into the can. I don't think that making it shorter will make any difference. Might relieve a fraction of backpressure. Probably just more of a cosmetic thing. I got tired of people hitting mine all the time is my reason for doing it.

Piece of cake! I shortened mine up. I posted some pics of it a while back. Do a search and it should come up. I cut mine just in front of the rear mount. Took like 5 inches off it. NOw it does not stick out like a sore thumb. It is a bit louder...but nothing that bad I don't think.
