Air filter setup

After sitting here and thinking of what to use for an air filter setup like on abbotts TT bikes, I thought of something else. Why, in all the money and research that Cannondale did, did they go with the big airbox. I know it is suppose to help out with getting air at an instant for better response a...

Dang...My plans have changed for next week, I guess i'll be in the shop for a bit. That is awesome. Does anyone have the part number or the size or model for the K&N filter. I want to go ahead and order one. Where does the crankcase vent get moved to? I can build this pretty easy. I hate to copy som...

Does everything go back together ok? I mean can you bolt the tip back on and not have stuff rattling around inside and all? I think I might just try this this weekend. Might even relocate the HMF logo farther down on the pipe. Cool.

My gosh, I need some tips. I polished just the two oil reservoirs on my quad and it took me over 8 hours. I cannot imagine how long that took you.

A buddy of mine has ASR's on his craptor and they are descent for him. I don't think they would hold up to a good rider. The bends and welds don't look that great. Not to hate on them or anything though.

Well if you can imagine, that a propeller blade is turning 3,000 rpm, is 72" long, and has a weight of 3 lbs total ( which some is in the hub an not spinning fast at all) and hits a bolt that weighs a few grams or so. That bolt can be thrown for several hundred yards away and we only know because it...

I tried a 42 yard tripple jump with my c-dale 2 weeks ago. NO other quad around here has attempted it, and I know why. The bikes hit it well. I came up short and faced it. Threw me off upon landing and the quad rolled a couple times down the other side and was still running upside down. Ran over to ...

All of our airboat propellers are now carbon fiber. They can make them hollow, lighter, stronger, and take a lot more abuse than aluminum propellers. I know that on my race boat, the propeller blade at the tip has over 30,000 lbs of outward force on it at 3,000 rpm, and the blade weighs 3 lbs and is...

I run a mixture of 3 gal of Citgo 110 Leaded with 2 gal of 95 Sunoco in a 5 gal can. I just mix it all up into 2 cans that I take with me to races and keep them sealed up when not in use. When I get low on one, I will empty it into the bike or the other can and then remix that one. I also put a frag...
