I do believe he is the sole reason I am racing my Cannondale right now. I was ready to give it up several times in the past. I then met Jim, over he phone only, and he has given me a reason to keep going with C-dale and not Yamaha. At almost any given time I could call him and he would answer my que...

Scavenge pump pictures
Here is what happens when a piece of aluminum the size of a BB gets into the pump. Did not do any damage to the pump though. As soon as it got jammed in the pump, the plastic gear stripped and so on and so forth...the cause of the oil in airbox. Winky overnighted the metal gears to me and some extra...

Well....Bad news...Pulled off the side cover and the little plastic gears for the scavange pump broke. It seems a small piece of metal has found its way into the pump and locked it up. Drained oil out of every possible place I could find, yes the drain plugs and all, for the third time. (Getting expensive to keep on dumping this oil.) I pulled off all the hoses from the frame and blew air through all of them and had to replace a few because I ripped them pulling them off. Cleaned ...

I just got in from dinner and had my oil draining for the past 2 hours. Took both drains from frame completely out, took oil filter out, blew through hole in airbox, drained engine and tranny. Put everything back together and filled tranny and then put one quart of oil in frame. Started it up and it...

HELP!!! pumping oil out airbox vent
Just got motor built by Jim at Diamond Racing. Had total rebuild, 450 kit, and everything that needs to be done was done to it. Have changed oil about 3 times, once after each ride of about 1 hour. Has about 3 hours on it total and about 2 tanks of gas. Today after riding about 30 minutes, the engin...
