does the crank have to be in a certain position or does the tdc bolt bring the crank to the position reqiured to set the cams like in the diagram supplied with the stage 8 kit?

enging timing

ive posted about this before but i never saved the info and i need it now. i have some timeing info about the two cam gears that i got from cannondale27 with the stage8 kit. but how should the revolution of the piston be in referance to the two cam gears? is the piston supposed to be top dead center...

i wouldnt put a stud through the bolt. that would seem to put too much stress on a smaller bolt. id try to buy one or see if you can get a bolt somewhere else and "cusotomize" it to fit. do you know any machinists? it wouldnt be that hard to make one up.
