I run 77 because 7 is my lucky number. Therefore 77 gives me double the luck.

You only read about the failures. You dont read about the ones that are still running since day1. It is people like you that give the Dales their bad rep. You Read a few posts and assume you know everything there is to know about one. Then you pass on BS opinions about them to your friends and then ...

Mxer why do you say they're to tempermental and require to much TLC? As long as it holds together, eh. Did you form those opinions from your own extensive experience or just goin by the failures that you read about on this site?

Here is what I came up with for about 5 bucks from local hardware store. Looks to be the same thing as laps.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.imageshack.us" target="_blank"><img src="http://img66.exs.cx/img66/8205/radgrill36jq.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /></a><br /><a href="http://www.images...

I got a LSR swinger. Dont know if you can still get one but the are very nice. I got mine on ebay for a great price so I couldnt tell you what they cost. I think it came out to be 3-4lbs heavier then the stocker but it is also chromed too so that accounts for some of the weight difference.

I had brand new bearings in mine when it happened so that eliminates that possiblity.

Yay finally a 100posts, it took me long enough

You think so, personally i think they are pretty weak at the pivot area. Maybe the best stocker but it still sucks imo. BTW mine did the same thing except it broke completely off and no it wasn't the bearings either.

i have some non stockers that are exactly the same except for the prongs are like twice as thiick. They havnt broken one time. My step father got them from his ford dealership, ill have to find out the part # or something. They are like the heavy duty version of our stockers.
