So I'm putting my engine back together and when I went to torque one of the helper studs I may have over-torqued it and strippped the threads. I can't get the nut to back off, I was able to get it snug but I'm sure its not 16lbs. How important is this, the other one tightened fine as wel...

I took out my piston and sleve, the sides of the piston and sleve had some scuff on them, I assume that means it's trash???
