how can you tell that it is too loose?

Sorry for the wait, my user cp still hasn't updated in like 2 months. These use a cross bar that goes across the engine cradle in front of the motor and bolt down with some plates and U-bolts to the engine cradle, and then it bolts up to the stock footpegs.

Im going to just throw this crazy thought in there and also say that it probably protects your neck from injuries during a wreck too, say you land on your head wierd like if you were to come up short on a jump and face plant.

Well when I tryed it, I just lightly set it in there, I didnt shove it down. Mainly because if it didnt fit, I wanted to still be able to take it back, haha. I have good faith in you guys though so Ill just shove her on in there real hard.
