Makes me want to get the rod and have Tim do it.

I have two months to get this thing done before the first race, and two and a half before the first important race.

Most of it isn't desert racing, not nearly as torturous. The burning of the clutch wasn't purely from the mud. The clutch wasn't adjusted correctly, so it was slipping, when I thought it was just lack of traction in the mud.

Also, I'll be the FIRST to say that I DID NOT ru...

I said its possible.....I didn't say it WAS.

The piston could be PERFECT for all I know, but it seemed to be the weakest link, being that so many others have had so many problems with them. Not many have had issues with Falicons, not many have had problems with everything in my motor....

It's just many of the POSSIBLE things that could be at fault.

Steve built my motor, he asked about the MINIMAL surface rust, and I wasn't to worried about it. And like I said, I seriously doubt it's the case.

I'm going to pull it out, and find out the exact prob...

Yeah, there wasn't any visible rust on anything except for that bare outer ring, on the sides of the crankshaft....but it is possible it was on the pin.

Very odd though, thats the way the crank arrived at my door, the box didn't look disinagrated or anything.......who knows.
...

How would the surface rust cause problems?

There was quite a bit of metal. In my oil filter, it was just some specs, but nothing major. But, on the magnetic plug, it was a pretty decent size clump of strands of metal.

The bill says you installed a sump magnet.

Well, I guess it's gonna get a Terminator Piston, if they are infact available.

Have Falicon put the right rod on it, along with whatever else is screwed up(still pisses me off that I have to PAY for a new rod, when they screwed it up in the first place)....I hope they don't take ...

Well, it made it to the end of the WORCS season, so I have a couple months before the 07 season starts.

Didn't think about it till a while after i found the shavings, and thought it was purly the piston, but, it's steel shavings, not aluminum.....Wristpin maybe?
