Wow, uh, wow. I would not put up with getting a poor product because it's the only gig in town (Which it is NOT). Would you guys rather Steve just keep this to himself, and have someone unwittingly put a crank like this in their Dale? Sorry, I agree with Thomez.

What about having the cranksaft ends milled down to accept a whole bearing who's outer diameter is the same as the stock bearing? That might solve one problem.

I hope a resolution is found. I want to stick with the Dale, but if reliability cannot be improved then it's better suited as a display, safely surrounded by plexiglass.
