Ya'll are right. Lately I've been focusing on winning too much. Fun is what it's all about.

cannondale27 got it right. When you get on the line all that other stuff disappears. It's getting there that is tough.

Now if it doesn't rain it out. Slight chance today and tonight.:m...

Need a pep talk

I'm racing tomorrow for the first time since I got 3 compressed vertabrae in a crash. I think it's been 13 weeks ago. I'm kinda nervous about it. Anybody else had compression fractures before? How long did you sit it out? I went and practiced at a much more technical track a couple weeks ago and fel...

I've heard of some failing also. I also know of one that wouldn't run beacause of a warped head. Took the guy forever to figure it out. It would start if he was pulled by another quad but it wouldn't idle. This engine was also modified pretty heavily. He put a brand new head on it and a big bore cyl...

Don't really have much knowledge on what stresses each bearing can withstand. I do know that I have seen the cages fail in the ball bearings several times though. Seen it happen twice in a Banshee as a matter of fact. It just seems like one more thing that can come apart. I would think that a roller...

It doesn't look like it was heat treated when you see it in person. It looks like some kind of coloring. The color is so consistent. It is just on the weight also. That's what made me wonder about it. I think that it was colored to distinguish it from an ordinary CB. I'm going to compare them as soo...

I thought the engine in my quad was an '02 but it must be an '03. the crank in it looks like the one in the top of your picture. I see now why they say the '02 crank is better. What do you think about that counterbalancer? I don't remember my other one looking like that. (It's at my shop 20 miles aw...

Yeah, didn't they add reservoir shocks and boost the engine output for 2005? I thought that was pretty cool considering the usual yearly changes Japanese quads get. ("Bold new graphics")

20 views and nobody knows. I also noticed later that the clutch side of the crank looks all custom and the flywheel side looks like it was mass produced. The clutch side has marks where it has been ground on for balancing or something. Is the 09 2000 a date perhaps? Any of you former employees have ...

Yeah, that's why they put adjustments on them. I like mine pretty stiff on stutter bumps and the like. It forces you to charge harder so you don't feel all the small choppy bumps. I also like them pretty soft on jumps. They bottom out pretty often, but I make use of all the wheel travel that I paid ...
