After talking to John about this, it's a lot of work to put on one of these events. There will need to be roughly 50 teams there. These events are going to start being in More select areas. If you can come up with 150 riders that will be there for sure then it is definatly worth looking into. I know...

chris I think Fence post can be added with tires around them for safty! stack up some hay bales make the track one lined though most of the track. then yeah add some logs here and there. Fill a couple of the dips between the jumps with lots of water! only prep some of the track after a bike race and...

Kara really hit all the basics. Don't get dicouraged if your resume doesn't look as flashy as hers. Most are just typed up one sheet listing basicly the same things she did. the main thing sponsers look for (assuming you are not a national pro) is who can make the biggest return on their investment....
