Yeah. Highland Mountain Bike park. It is the only bike-centric park (no skiing) in the US that I know of. The pics are geo-tagged.

I'm not sure how many people got the axe I would estimate at least a hundred people. Here is a link to some of my downhill pics....

http://picasaweb.google.com/paulhammerstro...feat=dir...

They have already closed down manufacturing in Bedford, PA. It's really sad. Everything will be made overseas now. All that expertise in fabricating aluminum is gone. There was soooo much proprietary knowledge about heat treating and welding aluminum. The people that worked there were top notch....

That was done at C-dale. It was done right before we went belly up. We only did one of them (if I remember right). It worked really well solving all of the heat related issues with the current pump location. I would say it was in the middle of the development process. This was the one in which we we...

Eventually they would ...

You guys are right on here....the last version of the stem with the plate moved down and the gusset on top reduces bump steer by a significant amount. Not to mention there is a different steering feel by putting the top mount in line with the stem. A little factoid here....the top mount was put in l...

Sand cast parts should tend to be cheaper, per part. The secondary machining would be a lot less involved with a sand cast part. However there is tooling involved. There would be cores that would have to be made. This tooling cost is usually paid up front and could be as high as $3000-$400...

I don't have the original cover model. That was on the original MX400 prototype. Even if I did there were so many changes since then that I would probobly have to re-model. If there are any CAD users out there you know how it is trying to go in and do serious re-modeling of old parts...in a lot ...
