Here is some data for minimum C4 clearance at temperature:

20C .0023mm
150C .0513mm
-40C -.0203mm

The reason we went with c4 clearance is for temperature variation. If you are never going to run your quad in really cold temperatures then you can probobly get away with a c3 clearance.

Well I just can't give it up! I wish I had more to offer, but I do what I can when I can. I would love to be knee deep again but I've got so many things going on right now. Hopefully this summer I will have a machine again and can contribute to the community more!

I was just informed that Frank White's father had a massive heart attack. He is recovering but is in critical shape. My thoughts and prayers go out to him.

Don't forget, if your talking about welding subframes....the stock one is heat treated to T-6 after weld.
