Whats up? I have alot of knowledge about ti and applicatons. Look an axle is not a good idea at the stock diameter. You have to increase the size to just under 2 inch. This will require a bearing carrier made to match. The rad axles do break at the snap rings. If someone hasn't broke thier axle yet ...

Welding ti is the key to the whole process. YOU REALLY NEED A CHAMBER THAT HAS A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. Alternate method is to use two argon tanks, one in tube and one out side tube. If you don't have any experience welding ti I would advise not trying on some tube that cost 25 bucks a foot.

Some people actually over kill in 4130. Walsh uses .70 1 1/8. His arms are super strong. I know a few other smaller arms maker that use the same size. .70 1 1/8 ti is going on team suzuki's bikes. Complements of me.

What grade material of tubing. This is key. And just to let you know most companies use about 0.70 1 1/8 for the lowers when using 4130. that tube would approximtely weigh the same as your 1 in .120 ti tube. you need .70. I can get it for you in 3-2 alloy. let me know

Also you would be buying these form gravesmotorsports or Walsh Direct. But you need to contact me first as I cordinate all the ti stuff. He will also make steering stems and subframes.
