I had read somewhere as well that there was someone that was running diesel coolant.....? Would this be acceptable. I'm also not real comfortable with the different reports of the overheating from the evans coolant. Plus the Engine Ice and similar is much easier for me to get.

The reason I'm interested in Engine Ice and the like is that my quad is still under warranty, and they want to use it or a deionized water coolant that they have in stock. If I use something else(IE: Evans) I'd void my warranty. Right now they're covering everything, and I don't want to do anything ...

I was real big into mx bike racing at that time......Yeah that very attempt made my opinion of C-dales really loooow for a VERY long time...... Its only been through atv sites that I have started to find some trust in what cannondales can do.

scooter, the 03' you had? Did you already have all the updates done? I know that the stage 8 is a manditory update, but I had always assumed the rebalanced crank was as well? From all I've read if you don't rebalance it, its just a matter of time......

Thanks Fig. Aren't the 02's ok as far as the crank issue is concerned? I know all of them need to have the stage 8 update done. I guess maybe I'll just wait till I see an 02' at a real good deal......
