hey guys im pretty far into my rebuild and its almost time to put the head on but since i got a new case i need to put the cylinder studs in. are these supposed to be torqued? if so then how many pounds? and since they round how can u measure a torque on them? thanks a lot

trying putting a socket extension on it and hit it hard a few times... if it was locktited in then this may break the locktite. Heat will also help too

heres why ur bike wont move... you need to take the clutch cover off and adjust the clutch. You need to loosen the lock nut, then turn the allen screw in all the way until it fully stops (not just when you can feel tension). Then back it out 3 complete turns. Then ur bike will move. make sure that little ball on the end of the push rod is in there. BTW... the nut backed off of my allen screw and the screw and nut ended up in the tranny. Probably a good thing tho because this led to me finding out a bunch of things that were wrong with my engine anyways.

yes i have to agree that does have a part in all of this. That guy was a hack and a half

i bought my dale in january. It was never raced(i only rode it for an hour). It's still not together because of the countless amount of problems. So i would have to guess yes racing does take a toll on them but a lot of the problems arent neccessarily from racing. We'll have to see how she holds up ...
