Jay is dropping by his shop on his way to work in the morning and will bring it in with him. I'll probably start putting back together tomorrow. He'll have the valves replaced later in the week.:head:

The crank was fine (almost)! It even had a Carillo rod on it. But it was .006 out and had to be trued and balanced. Tim (at Cycle City) managed to get it to .0005. That should take care of excess vibration.:clap:

Thanks for the help Acarli3. I am going to have the crank rechecked just to be on the safe side. I'm the type that would rather do it while I'm there than have to go back into it later. And...if something's questionable....I replace it.

Were the cranks just not trued and balanced right from the factory? If that is the case, then that is an easy enough fix.

I'm redoing the motor in this discussion. I've never been into a Cannondale engine before but it seems pretty straight forward.<br />I pulled the crank out today and it has roller bearings installed(not ball bearings). Are these ok for this type of engine? The crank has Diamond Racing 14,000 RPM max...
