Well I talked to Tim and I think everything has been found. Dont think it is very major. The cam gear and cam are still good, I think. I am shipping it to TIm to let him look at it. Something behind the bearing that has 2 like dowell pins conecting it together, they sheared and stopped the cam from ...

I spoke to Tim this afternoon. We checked injectors and everything. We finally noticed that it was not pushing out the exhaust as it should. The timing is off something terrible. Tim thinks that the exhaust cam might have worn out and eat into the bucket causing the shim to jump out or something. He...

The woodruff key is good. Around the center of the flywheel where the aluminum kind of meets the steel insert. It looks like it has spun a little or shows signs like it may have. We are going to stick another flywheel on it and check. I am almost out of ideas. I checked the coil again. It sparks lik...

C27 ask if I had took the plug out and tried to spin the motor by hand. I did this and it gets very tight as the piston comes to the top. Is this normal. Hit the starter and it will spin like crazy. Sorry, I dont know much about an engine. lol

I did a compression check. I was reading on the website that it should be between 80 and 90 psi. When the gauge first jumps it goes to about 90 but if you keep turning it over it goes up to like 125. I am guessing this is fine. Somebody chime in and let me know. THanks

Seems to turn over fine. I am still trying to find a fly wheel puller so I can check the keyway but it looks like the notch and the c line up perfect. Has fuel and fire and compression but will not run. Have not done a compression check on it but it will suck your hand down into the top where the co...
