The ECU's are filled with a very tough compound and not easy (cost effective) to rebuild. Check with Canniboomer for a new or possibly used unit. They aren't terribly expensive.

You could possibly have the old clutch pack with aluminum metal plates. My clutch fluid was very silver/grey colored and I found the aluminum plates were the cause. Upgrading to the steel metal plates was the fix.

It looks good - given the small amount of space between the bike frame spars, a fully custom unit would be a great way to go.
