Running B the Holeshots are a little easier, but I have three out of five(the other two were last though) on a stock battery setup Blaze. I hit the button count to one and then let it go. The new yamaha 450 start so quick, they will be diffcult in the future without the 24 volt system. I think at th...

Crank it VERY short--even if it doesn't fire. Let it crank like three revolutions then stop. Then again, and again until it starts and stays running. Short works best or you'll flood it out.

All of your methods are too hard. Compressed air!!!!!! Small hole in grip one with someone or something blocking the other side. Quick shot of air slide the grip on ALL DONE. Then do the other side. Caution---Use very short bursts of air or the grip will deform. This method works great every time. N...

I keep my idle higher then most, I think if I kept it around 1900-2000 it would more than likely start also. I find I like it around 2400-2500 for racing.

I understand... I now have the software so I can see what it is doing. Mine will charge the battery at anywhere over 1550 rpms--13.5 volts. I have been starting it with the idle turned back and then adjusting it up as it warms and the IAC closes.

More info.

I belive I have now figured out how to start my bike in cold weather. 1. My quad will start every time and not waste a plug if the idle screw is all the way in or very close. I like the idle high but the bike will not consistantly start in that postion. Also I only crank it for about 2 seconds max a...

Air Filter oil.

I understand about your concerns, but in this case it's not that. I have not changed the air filter in the past two to three rides. It has given me some problem each time, during those. The air filter has not been touched and now I am not seeing the problem. I did earlier in the year have a problem w...
