It is not all that hard... you need to have the map you want to load in a file on a computer which kind of needs to be an old one that has the 9 pin serial port. New laptops do not have this and a usb adapter can be made to work but can be problematic with loading the hex file which is like to opera...

The 2001's and before had a small square like box that was the 500 ecu's which did not have the ability to change maps... there was a mil tool that you could use to adjust the air fuel ratio and such but that was about it. Most of the 02's and beyond had the s-1000 ecu which was more rec...

It would be better to swap the throttle body along with the ecu as it would be closer but does not mean that the throttle calibration will be correct enough for it to run right but would be worth a try. Swapping the injectors would only gain you something if the ones you have are faulty.<br />If you...

There is not a cdi on a cannondale so to speak as you would find on a carb'd quad or bike... there is an ecu and yes you can swap it and it would not hurt but may or may not run. For it to work correctly it would need the throttle cal values set up into a map and loaded with d&m kit from a c...

Because it is a moto there will probably always be some sort of market for them but sorry to say right now everything is obviously in the tank. You would fetch what you are looking for if it was together and fully updated and documented by a reputable builder, however you have somewhat of a basket c...

If it is a black valve cover my bet is mag... gteenish blue, bare or a shiny valve cover would be likely aluminum. As said the 450 kit can be scoped out by pulling the water inlet above the crank position sensor. If it is iron than it would be a 450 or larger but I would not call that much of a plus...

What weight oil are you running? If it is that cold maybe a 5 or 0w 40 might be in order. Also it might not hurt to put a space heater blowing directly on the crank case if possible to warm the battery also.

Received in what seemed like record time... did you send it ground? Was not in that much of a hurry but it was a fair deal all things considered.
Thx
