If you have anything other than the stock air box you might want to check the boot from the throttle body to the head... a jolt like that could have knocked it off or cracked it.

If you are just talking the cradle you can swap the whole thing just support the front of the engine if you have a stock air box so you dont rip the boot.

Drain the sump on the engine... the small plug in front of the bigger one on the right side into a clean container and pour it back into the frame along with enough oil to put it back in the sight glass but do not overfill. Never again for me... that one looks like it even has the thick tool steel pin that timbo makes and even that failed. If this is yours or somebody here buys it I might have a sleeve for it.

IMHO it is when a chain gets to where it starts kinking up on its own..as in if you were to take it odd and make a shape with it and hang it to where it should roll out straight is when a case saver has little to no chance of saving you. Other than that it seems to be more of a luck of the draw kind...

Good luck getting that lucky twice on a dale! There was a glamis on craigs here but it was $1500 minus a title so I did not even tempt myself.

I am not too far and looking to trim my speed count down by one... There was a time not long ago when I would not hesitate to give that kind of money for a speed with a trashed motor! Of course times have changed but no way around it building a fresh motor costs right about a g just in parts not...
