Do I totally remove my stock clamp and replace it with an oversize one or do I buy the adapter the uses the bottom part of the stock clamp?

I have an 03 Cannibal with stock handlebars. I would like to upgrade to some oversized ones like Protaper or Tag. What will I need to keep it close to the way it feels now? What adapter will I need for the oversize bars? I appreciate any suggestions and help.

I feel that I should go with a 6 ply tire. What size is most popular on Cannondale's for XC riding. Should I do with a 22 or 23 inch front?

How often should the fan come on? I am not sure mine is working. How long should I have to ride before it kicks on for the first time? Is it designed to run once you turn off the atv? I just need a way to test and make sure this thing kicks on.
