and the wheel spacers where put on by the last owner. he used them at the dunes and put them on the outside to race xc.

Here's the deal. I traded my 250r for this speed about a year ago. The guy I got it from had just rebuilt the motor with an ATK crank and top end. It ran good, but it was leaking oil into the tranny (probbably a cut o-ring on reassembly). The quad has just been sitting in my garage since then. I jus...

Anyone have a newer cr250 motor (or other 250cc dirt bike motor) that they want to sell??? I'm thinking of trying a motor swap.

no oil came out of the upper spar and just a small amount came out of the lower one. also, what about all the oil in the tranny. i don't think anyone would over fill it that much. lots of oil drained before the level got to the top of the sight window.

i just got my speed and one of the first things i did was change the oil. i drained the spars... not much oil??? then i drained the crankcase... not a drop of oil:( so i drained the tranny (nice rounded drain bolt) and a large amount of oil came out (looking suspiciously like gear oil and motor oil)...
