If these are the same as the ATK LQ, and it appears to be, that engine was designed for a shifter cart. Turned 13K also. I do agree it's a poor design but still don't see how an increased stroke/power increase can have an effect. A higher RPM ceiling may but I don't buy the inertial incr...

It's either a balance issue creating harmonics or a tolerance stack-up with the gear drive...the flywheel has no real load on it so it shouldn't be having a problem.

Sounds like a harmonics related issue due to the increased stroke to me.
It just shakes the flywheel apart. If you have access to an EVA tool to see what hertz range's it shows at different RPM's you may be able to give that to the guys doing the balancing...

The LQ ATK's...

Rear shock....

The thing I found with the camera is for tech pics I turn the flash off. Does your camera have a macro setting(close-up)? Don't try to get too close. The pic down in the body is a really tough one though.....

Oh? Guess I should have asked first but I re-posted your pics over at KTMTalk. Thought the susp guys might like a look at them.

On another topic......we got to get you a better camera! My $150.00 Kodak takes MUCH better pics than that. Maybe it's time to take up a collection for you...

How do you bleed the air out of these? The PDS version of the WP shock is fairly tough to bleed but i guess this may not be too bad?<img src="http://www.cannondaleriders.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif...
