they could rev to almost 9 when built up.Anybody else have a fx400 here?i feel like i have a red headed step child,surely most of them havent been parted or scrapped by now..

I'm in the middle of pulling my motor in my fx400 and what a experience it is. I knew I would I would meet obstacles and road blocks but wow, I spent almost 2 hrs on it yesterday and I still don't have the motor out, almost but a few more odds and ends and zip ties..lol. Man to you guys that...

So the z400 bearing is the upgrade huh?After seeing the the quality control issues personally on a few z400s i would feel more comfortable with say a crank from a ol'skool honda xr500! Those are cranks that would last forever,guys would get 8 seasons of flat track racing on those things,if o...

I picked it up this morning,how do i know whats what?I hear this may have possibly 2 different cranks,is there a difference between the two as far as crank bearings go?I would like to get the parts ahead of time if i can but if there isnt a way of differentiating between the 2 until i tear it appart...

I'm located in Hubbard,Oh, near Youngstown. Well I'll find out what is what tomorrow, I didn't know they had 2 different cases, I knew about the 500 series computer though while the later models had the 1000 series, well it should be interesting.

Okay I decided to make the plunge despite everything I have seen with my own eyes and heard. I plan on picking up a FX in the morning and I wonder what else is there to watch for? I plan on doing the updated crank first thing and maybe the stud kit. I already plan on lots of headaches and frustratio...
