I always keep a battery tender on the E440 because of the constant small current drain they all have. I'd like to put on a lithium and not do anything for months like my Husaberg but I would need to put on a disconnect switch. It would also be good for extended camping trips. Automotive race car...

The bigger ones are easy to smash because they stick out to the side so far. If you use one it's worth making some sort of guard just to protect the sides. They are hard to find now.

I was always curious if the 2003 frames rode any different than the converted 2002s. I have a 03 frame and it seems quite a bit different than the 2002 where they sealed off the center air intake. Does it feel like the geometry is different between them?

Since I have enough parts to put together another Dale bike or two I was thinking about a Dale snowbike. Looks like it could be fun and I'm a hard core skier too. Has anyone tried one out with a Cannondale? It would be good motivation to make a lot of power.

I found that some Marzocchi fork springs are identical. I had extra sets for my 2006 gasgas 300 forks that were identical. Honda seals work if you need those. I got some replacement bushings from Racetech a while ago.

Later model 450x triples are 22 mm. 20s were available aftermarket for 450rs for years that fit the Ohlins. some ktm 300s had 20 mm offset clamps but I'm not sure the forks would fit. BRP makes the cheapest 20 mm new set that fits the right years of hondas that mate up with the Ohlins forks at a...

On the E440 I used an aftermarket set of adjustable clamps for a 2002 honda crf450. From what I remember the stock Honda clamps are the same offset as the <br />Cannondales. I believe there is a version that fits the Ohlins or Showa forks from one of the years of a crf250x or a crf450x that have a s...

Hi Dave,
Yes it runs for another 2 min but I have a light and powerful lithium battery with extra amp-hrs. The key does not shut it off but I think I'll rewire it as you suggested.
Thanks

Another high altitude picture near Sonora pass at about 9400 ft. Me on the Husa and my son on the E440. We rode some nasty 4wd roads with bowling ball size rocks and ugly ruts. The E440 was actually more stable for that than my FE570. The E440 seems good for high speed or rocky nasty stuff where sta...
