It's the intake cam bearing on the old head. Looks like all the balls are still in the cam, and I can't get any of them out so I'm hoping their all still in there.<br /><br />I'm going to pull the exhaust bearing and count the balls just to make sure.<br /><br />I did flush the case ...

I know it's a bearing cage, yes it has a rivet. I'll pull the camshafts out of the old head and check the bearings, but it very well could have been there from the last time. This is the motor that blew a head gasket at the 6 hour race, and dropped a valve at the 12 hour.<br /><br />The kid ...

I'm re-assembling a motor that had a broken valve. The bottom end seemed to be fine, so I never pulled the cartridge plate. Installed the new piston and head today and then found this in one of the oil passages. I can't remeber which bearings have this type of race, don't even know if it...
