I remember reading a thread about removing the iacv and making a block-off plate for it.I have tried three different iacvs all work fine for awhile then the idle is up & down,change to another iacv idles good for awhile (months),then its back. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif" style...

I dont know if this applys to you,but I had non-running fan issues .I have a blackwidow harness add-on that runs the fan and fuelpump,well one of the relays went bad not allowing the fan to run,didnt know until it started puking coolant.

Nice bike,glad it went to a good home and not parted on ebay.

8 year old gas may have gummed up your injectors,fuelpump ect.If it has a mag.valve cover the coolant may have ate your cover,got some work to do.

Did you leave fuel in it when you parked it?I would check the fuel lines for dry rot for sure.

On my quad,I drained the old coolant,used a mix of vinegar and distilled water,filled the rad and ran the engine a few minutes,drained and filled with coolant.
