I'm fairly certain that stator is knackered. Those wires around the outside have been skimmed flat.

Now that is interesting. I just assumed that because the bike was running even with the issues at low revs, the CPS must be working too. I have a spare so it'd be dumb not to try it.<br /><br />Going to have a proper look at those wires this weekend as well, because I'd hat to pull it apart ...
