Well I polished up the piston and put it back together. I never had any brake drag just one that didn't brake well. I bled both sides and now they have even pressure but both will turn with the parking brake on. It looks like I will need to do some more bleeding to get all the air out.

I checked to make sure the pins were free before I pulled it. The way I checked it was locking the brakes on and trying to turn each tire. One was locked solid and the other I could get to turn.

When I got my speed it always pulled hard to one side when I hit the front brakes. I gave bleeding a try and it seemed to help some but still did not fix the problem. ( I did read up on bleeding the brakes before I did it) I finally just pulled the caliper and took it apart. It was not stuck but the...

Man do I feel stupid. After a good wash I was about to tear the motor out for the updates that still need to be done soon. I think It's still going to come out before another ride. Well I thought I would give it one more try with fresh fuel and a new filter and it fired right up like new. The fu...

Most of the stuff is high priced but there are some great deals that come up once in a while. I got a 1000 ECU for cheap and scored a complete FMF titanium for $320 in pretty good condition. Then a couple weeks later there was an auction for new in box complete FMF titanium systems for I forget...

Well I got around to checking further into the speed. I checked the plug and it was kinda black but not too bad. It has one real ride on it and then it was missing and died . That plus the cranking it and it not running right makes me think that the amount of soot on the plug was not the problem. Th...

It really didn't rev that high but It's easy and I will check for that. I don't plan on changing ECUs all the time I just wanted to see if the one I bought worked because We gave it a try on Glens speed before he found his problem and Glen said it didn't prime the fuel pump right. It...

I can pull the plug and have a look at it. It only ran for a couple minutes. I don't have any way of doing the throttle cal. Could changing the ECU out and back really mess up the throttle cal? It just had the high idle and when it came down to just above normal it started missing and then died....
